Suggested Use
Calcium Drench is a mineral supplement for use in fresh cows. It contains calcium, propylene glycol and certain vitamins to help maintain normal mineral and vitamin levels around freshening.Feeding Recommendations
Provide 200ml at the first sign of freshening and another 200ml 6 to 12 hours after calving. If first dose is missed, a post calving dose is still beneficial. Each 1 gallon container provides nineteen 200ml feedings.
Feeding Directions
Shake well before using. Slowly administer the recommended amount using drench gun. Hold the head of the animal in a slightly elevated position and carefully place the nozzle into the back of the mouth between the cheek and teeth. Take extreme care when feeding to animal so it does not enter lungs. Do not give to animals that are unable to swallow. This can result in severe pneumonia and death. If inexperienced in drenching, please consult your vet.Slowly administer recommended dosage. Do not give to cows that are unable to swallow.
Goats: Provide 1 ounce at the first sign of kidding and another 1 ounce 6 to 12 hours after kidding. If the first feeding is missed, post delivery feeding is still beneficial. Each 1 gallon container provides 128 one ounce feedings.
