Composition

Prepared from cultures of Clostridium perfringens types C and D. Alum precipitated.

C & D Toxoid Indications

Recommended for the immunization of healthy susceptible sheep and cattle against enterotoxemia caused by the toxins of Clostridium perfringens type C and D and for the immunization of healthy susceptible swine against enterotoxemia caused by the toxins of Clostridium perfringens type C.

C & D Toxoid Dosage And Administration

Sheep 2 mL, cattle and swine 5 mL injected subcutaneously or intramuscularly using aseptic technique. Repeat in 21 to 28 days and annually.

Precaution(s)

Store out of direct sunlight at a temperature not over 45°F. Avoid freezing. Shake well. Use entire contents when first opened.

C & D Toxoid Caution(s)

Anaphylactoid reactions may occur.

Antidote(s)

Administer epinephrine.

Warning(s)

Do not vaccinate within 21 days before slaughter.
