Bursine N-k
This treatment applies to the following species:Bursal Disease-newcastle Disease Vaccine
Killed Virus
For Veterinary Use Only
For the subcutaneous or intramuscular revaccination of healthy chickens 3 weeks of age or older, as an aid in the prevention of the signs and lesions associated with infectious bursal disease and Newcastle disease. Progeny of vaccinates are aided in the prevention of signs and lesions associated with infectious bursal disease. For best protection, prime birds with a live infectious bursal disease and Newcastle disease.
Dose
Inject 0.5 mL (0.5 cc) intramuscularly or subcutaneously (in the lower neck region) using aseptic technique. Vaccinate only healthy birds. For primed birds, a single dose between 16 and 22 weeks (approximately 4 weeks prior to lay) is indicated.Bursine N-K Caution
Store in the dark at 36° to 45°F (2° to 7°C). Do not freeze. Warm to 72°F (22°C) and shake well before using. Do not vaccinate within 42 days before slaughter. Use entire contents when first opened.Gentamicin added as a preservative.
