This inactivated vaccine contains Cl. botulinum Type C.Preservative: Thimerosol.
Botumink Indications
BOTUMINK® aids in preventing Type C botulism in healthy, susceptible mink.Botumink Dosage And Administration
Inject 1 mL under the loose skin of the armpit of mink at least 6 weeks old. For proper suspension, shake before and occasionally during use. Revaccinate all adults at the time of kit vaccination.Precaution(s)
Store at 2° to 7°C, 35° to 45°F.Use entire contents when first opened.
Botumink Caution(s)
Do not use as diluent for live virus vaccines.Circumstances such as incubating diseases, maternal immunity, Aleutian disease, nutritional deficiencies, stress, and parasitism may exist undetected at the time of vaccination and may result in incomplete protection from vaccination. If botulism is diagnosed in previously vaccinated mink, immediate notification of United is recommended.
