Black Ointment Indications
Soothing ointment with counter-irritant properties useful in relieving symptomatic muscle aches, minor lameness, sprains and other types of muscle pain in horses. BLACK OINTMENT can also be used to temporarily relieve local muscle pain associated with veterinary treatments such as intramuscular injections.
Directions
Before applying product, clean and dry treatment area. Apply twice a day, a generous amount of BLACK OINTMENT directly on the sore muscle area (leg or other) and rub in until product disappears. No bandage is necessary.
In the case of lameness or sprains, exercise sessions should be limited to a minimum in order to avoid any further injuries. BLACK OINTMENT should be applied following exercise. Follow the advice of your veterinarian.
Black Ointment Caution
Do not apply near the eyes or other mucous membranes or directly on irritated or ulcerated skin.
If no improvement is seen after 7 to 10 days of treatment or if the treatment area skin becomes red or irritated, cease immediately using the product and consult a veterinarian. Wear gloves when applying.
