BismuKote Paste for Small DogsThis treatment applies to the following species:
Active Ingredient(s): Bismuth subsalicylate, magnesium aluminum silicate, xanthan, bezoic acid, sorbic acid, sucrose, bacon flavor, artificial colors, salicylic acid, sodium salicylate, sodium saccharine.
BismuKote Paste for Small Dogs Indications
For small dogs, as an aid in the treatment and prevention of diarrhea or gastrointestinal inflammation.
Dosage and Administration1cc per 5 pounds of body weight 3 to 4 times per day, administered on the tongue. 1cc BISMUKOTE PASTE = 50 mg bismuth subsalicylate.
Caution(s): Hospitalization, oral and intravenous hydration may be necessary in cases of diarrhea or gastrointestinal inflammation. Consult your veterinarian if signs of depression, fever, vomiting, diarrhea, or abdominal discomfort persist. This medication may cause a temporary and harmless darkening of the tongue or stool.
