For medium and large dogs, as an aid in the treatment and prevention of diarrhea or gastrointestinal inflammation.

BismuKote Paste for Medium & Large Dogs Dosage And Administration

1cc per 10 pounds of body weight 3 to 4 times per day, administered on the tongue. 1cc BISMUKOTE PASTE = 100 mg bismuth subsalicylate.

Hospitalization, oral and intravenous hydration may be necessary in cases of diarrhea or gastrointestinal inflammation. Consult your veterinarian if signs of depression, fever, vomiting, diarrhea, or abdominal discomfort persist. This beneficial medication may cause a temporary and harmless darkening of the tongue or stool.
