Biovac Indications

BIOVAC^® aids in preventing virus enteritis Types 1 and 2 in healthy, susceptible mink.

Biovac Dosage And Administration

Inject 1 mL under the loose skin of the armpit of mink at least 6 weeks old. For proper suspension, shake before and occasionally during use. Revaccinate all adults at the time of kit vaccination.

Precaution(s)

Store at 2° to 7°C, 35° to 45°F.

Use entire contents when first opened.

Biovac Caution(s)

Circumstances such as incubating diseases, maternal immunity, Aleutian disease, nutritional deficiencies, stress, and parasitism may exist undetected at the time of vaccination and may result in incomplete protection from vaccination. If virus enteritis is diagnosed in previously vaccinated mink, immediate notification of United is recommended.

Antidote(s)

Antidote for anaphylaxis: Epinephrine.
