AviPro AE Tremblex Dosage And Administration

Preparation of Vaccine for Drinking Water Use: Open the bottle of vaccine by removing the aluminum tear seal and rubber stopper. Fill the bottle about 3/4 full of clean non-sanitized water. Replace the stopper, shake well and pour all the contents into a pint jar 3/4 full of non-sanitized water. Shake well and mix with approximately 10 U.S. or 8.3 Imperial gallons of non-sanitized water.

If the water in your area is extremely hard or contains excessive minerals, add a commercial powdered milk to the drinking water at the rate of 1 tablespoonful to each gallon of water as a stabilizer.

Method of Vaccination: Keep all medication and disinfectants from the drinking water 24 hours before and 24 hours after vaccination. Rinse waterers with clean non-sanitized water. Water starve birds for at least two hours prior to vaccination. Provide adequate space so that at least two-thirds of the birds can drink at one time.

Divide mixed vaccine into the waterers. Provide no other drinking water until all vaccine has been consumed.

Preparation of Vaccine for Aerosol Use: Remove the aluminum overseal and stopper from the vaccine bottle. Fill the bottle about 3/4 full of clean non-sanitized water. Pour the entire contents into the reservoir of a sprayer containing 70 mL of deionized water or 5 mL of glycerine and 65 mL of deionized water. Before the vaccination the sprayer should be calibrated so that 100 mL will be delivered in 3 minutes.

Method of Vaccination: Confine the birds to a corner of the house with fences and direct the stream from the sprayer over the heads of the birds. Extreme caution should be taken to prevent birds from smothering during this operation.

Contraindication(s)

Birds to be vaccinated should be free of all diseases, including the latent form of diseases such as chronic respiratory disease (CRD), coccidiosis, blackhead, parasitic disease, etc. If there are susceptible birds on the premises, the virus may spread from the vaccinated to the susceptible birds and affect egg production or cause disease in chicks under six weeks of age.

Precaution(s)

Keep vaccine in the dark, between 2-7°C (35-45°F).

Use entire contents when first opened. Burn this container and all unused contents.

AviPro AE Tremblex Caution(s)
