Active Ingredient(s)

Produced with high titering strains of avian reovirus and infectious bursal disease (IBD) viruses, suspended in a stable oil emulsion. It contains two reovirus strains: the S1133 strain (a tenosynovitis pathotype) and the 1733 strain (a malabsorption syndrome pathotype), as well as BTO Variant E IBD.

AviPro 206 BD3-REO Indications

Recommended for the immunization of breeder hens and replacement pullets to give broad protection against avian reovirus and Type 1 infectious bursal disease (Gumboro disease), standard and variant strains.

AviPro 206 BD3-REO Dosage And Administration

The vaccine should be warmed to room temperature before use. Shake well before using. Inject subcutaneously in the lower neck region using aseptic technique.

Inject all of the birds in the flock with 1/2 mL (0.5 mL) per bird.

Birds should be primed with attenuated live virus vaccines for tenosynovitis and with mild or intermediate strains of bursal disease at least 4 weeks prior to the use of this vaccine. Vaccinate with AVIPRO^® 206 BD3-REO between 16 and 20 weeks of age.

Revaccinate during molt.

Store below 45°F (7°C). Do not freeze.

Use the entire contents of the bottle when first opened.

Warning(s)

Do not vaccinate within 42 days before slaughter.
