Salmonella enteritidis Bacterin

Contents: AVIPRO® 109 SE4 is produced with four phage types of Salmonella enteritidis. These four phage types are the most common types isolated from poultry houses. High concentrations of these strains are suspended in a stable oil emulsion.

AviPro 109 SE4 Indications

Developed for use in commercial layers and breeder hens to aid in the reduction of Salmonella enteritidis colonization of internal organs, including the reproductive tract.

Dosage and Administration

The vaccine should be warmed to room temperature before use. Shake well before using. Inject subcutaneously in the lower neck region using aseptic technique. Inject all of the birds in the flock with 1/2 mL (0.5 mL) per bird. Commercial layers and breeder hens should be vaccinated between 12 and 16 weeks of age. Revaccinate 4 weeks later. AVIPRO® 109 SE4 is completely safe because it contains no living bacteria.

Precaution(s): Do not store below 45°F (7°C). Do not freeze.

Use entire contents of bottle when first opened.

Warning(s): Do not vaccinate within 42 days before slaughter.
