Aureomycin Uterine Oblets Indications

As an aid in the prevention and treatment of infections of the uterus in cows, and the treatment of infections of the uterus in ewes and sows.

Directions For Use

Cows

As an aid for the prevention of infections of the uterus, 1 OBLET should be placed deeply into the uterus immediately after calving or as directed by a veterinarian. If the afterbirth membranes are retained, insert 1 to 2 OBLETS as treatment or use as directed by a veterinarian. Unaided expulsion of the fetal membranes frequently occurs 4 to 5 days following treatment with AUREOMYCIN OBLETS.

If infections of the uterus are a herd problem, it is recommended that 1 OBLET be deposited aseptically following normal expulsion of the fetal membranes. Every effort must be made to avoid the introduction of gross contaminants. A full arm rubber sleeve and gloves should be used when OBLETS are inserted into the uterus.

Ewes And Sows

As an aid in the treatment of uterine infections, insert 1/2 to 1 OBLET deeply into the uterus immediately after lambing and farrowing or as directed by a veterinarian.
