Atropine Sulfate Injection

100mL Sterile Multiple-Dose Vial

AtroJect SA may be used; As a pre-anesthetic adjuvant. To reduce salivation, bronchial secretion, or internal peristalsis associated with colic or diarrhea. As an antidote for parasympathomimetic drugs.

Active Ingredient

Each mL contains:

Atropine sulfate

0.54 mg

Sodium chloride

9 mg

Benzyl alcohol (preservative)

1.5%

Water for injection

q.s.

pH is adjusted with sulfuric acid when necessary.

AtroJect SA Dosage And Administration

For intravenous, intramuscular or subcutaneous use.

Dogs and Cats: Inject 1 mL for each 20 lbs of body weight as a preanesthetic adjuvant or to reduce salivation, bronchial secretion, or internal peristalsis associated with colic or diarrhea.

As an antidote for parasympathomimetic drugs, inject 1 mL for each 7.5 pounds of body weight. It is suggested that one-quarter of the dosage be injected I.V. and the remainder either I.M. or S.C.

Federal law restricts this drug to use by or on the order of a licensed veterinarian. Keep out of the reach of children. For veterinary use only.

Warmth, emetics, cholinergics.
