Federal law restricts this drug to use by or on the order of a licensed veterinarian.

EACH SCORED TABLET CONTAINS:

DL-Methionine

200 mg or 500 mg

DOSAGE: The suggested dose of Ammonil Tablet 200 mg for adult cats is one (1) tablet per 10 lb (4.5 kg) body weight 3 or 4 times daily with food. For dogs one (1) tablet per 10 lb (4.5 kg) of body weight once or twice daily with food. The suggested dose of Ammonil Tablet 500 mg for adult cats is one (1) tablet per 10 lb (4.5 kg) body weight once or twice daily with food. For dogs one-half (1/2) tablet per 10 lb (4.5 kg) of body weight once or twice daily with food. Dosage should be adjusted to maintain urine pH consistently below 6.6. Not intended for use in kittens.

Do not dispense in this container. Dispense in tight, light resistant containers as defined in the USP.

INDICATION: For use as a urinary acidifier in cats and dogs.

Warning

Do not administer to animals with severe liver or kidney damage or to animals exhibiting acidosis. KEEP THIS AND ALL MEDICATIONS OUT OF THE REACH OF CHILDREN.

STORE AT CONTROLLED ROOM TEMPERATURE 15°-30°C (59°-86°F).
