Active Ingredients

Each 100 mL contains: Dextrose (as monohydrate) 5 g, calcium chloride dihydrate 15 mg, potassium chloride 20 mg, magnesium sulfate trihydrate (as heptahydrate) 20 mg, sodium acetate trihydrate 250 mg, thiamine HCl 10 mg, nicotinamide 150 mg, pyridoxine HCl 10 mg, vitamin B12 5 mcg, riboflavin 5-phosphate sodium (as dihydrate) 4 mg, d-panthenol (as D-calcium pantothenate) 5 mg, casein hydrolysate* 150 mg.

Each Litre Of Solution Will Provide Approximately

Dextrose 252 mmol, sodium 18 mEq, calcium 2 mEq, potassium 3 mEq, magnesium 2 mEq, acetate 18 mEq, chloride 5 mEq, sulfate 2 mEq.

Alanine 0.8 mg, arginine 1 mg, aspartic acid 2 mg, glutamic acid 6.7 mg, glycine 0.6 mg, histidine 0.9 mg, isoleucine 1.6 mg, leucine 2.5 mg, lysine 2.5 mg, methionine 0.3 mg, phenylalanine 1 mg, proline 3.3 mg, serine 1.6 mg, threonine 1.4 mg, tryptophane 0.3 mg, tyrosine 0.2 mg, valine 2 mg.

Amino-Jug Indications

An injectable amino acid, vitamin and electrolyte solution for use as an aid in the supportive treatment of debilitated animals and for supportive treatment of severe diarrhea in cattle, swine and horses. Amino-Jug aids in counteracting the protein, electrolyte and vitamin loss associated with these conditions.

Amino-Jug Dosage And Administration

Warm to body temperature prior to administration. Administer slowly by intravenous or intraperitoneal injection in cattle and swine. Administer by intravenous injection ONLY in horses.

Mature Cattle, Horses & Swine

2 mL/kg of body weight.

Calves, Foals & Piglets

5 mL/kg of body weight.

Repeat if necessary as directed by a veterinarian.

Amino-Jug Cautions

Nausea and distress may sometimes occur if this solution is administered too rapidly. Should these symptoms occur, discontinue injection until animal returns to normal. Injection may then be continued at a slower rate. This product is for supportive treatment only. Ensure proper medical treatment for infectious and pathological conditions. Do not retain partially used bottle. Contains no preservatives. Do not use unless solution is clear.

Storage

Store in a cool (8°C-15°C), dark place. Do not retain partially used vials. KEEP FROM FREEZING.
