Ami-Lone Indications
For use in horses as an oral expectorant, bronchodilator and anti-inflammatory.
Dosage
For Oral Use - Shake Well
Give 15 to 30 ml twice daily for one week, then 15 to 30 ml once daily for one week, then 15 to 30 ml every second day for one week or as directed by veterinarian.
Ami-Lone Caution
Adverse reactions such as cardiac stimulation and diuresis may occur. Prednisolone alone or in combination with Aminophylline and Guaifenesin, should only be administered strictly when an allergy component associated with the condition is suspected. AMI-LONE is not to be used on a continued basis. A veterinarian must be consulted after 5 to 7 days or less, if there is no improvement or as soon as possible in the case of an adverse reaction. It is recommended as well that a veterinarian be consulted at the end of the 3 week treatment period.
Warning
This drug is not to be administered to horses that are to be slaughtered for use in food.
