Active-3 spot-on With Nylar® For Dogs Is An Effective And Easy To Use Product. active-3 spot-on With Nylar® For Dogs Inhibits Flea Eggs Laid On Treated Dogs From Developing Into Biting Adults For 3 Months. active-3 spot-on With Nylar® For Dogs Controls Fleas, Brown Dog Ticks, And American Dog Ticks For 3 Weeks. active-3 spot-on With Nylar® For Dogs Kills Blacklegged (deer) Ticks (which May Carry The Organism Which Causes Lyme Disease) For 4 Weeks. Ticks Present On The Animal At The Time Of Treatment May Take Several Days To Die.
for Effective Flea And Tick Control, Treatment Of The Pet Should Be Combined With The Sanitation Of Any Area Used By The Pet. Vacuum Floors, Carpets, Furniture, Etc. (discard Vacuum Bag After Use) And Wash The Pet's Bedding, Living Quarters, And Surrounding Areas. If Pest Problems Persists, An Insecticidal Premise Treatment May Be Required.

RETAIN PACKAGING INFORMATION FOR FUTURE REFERENCE. Use ONLY on dogs and puppies 12 weeks of age or older. DO NOT USE ON CATS OR OTHER ANIMALS. NOT TO BE USED ON DOGS OVER 30 KG. Do NOT administer by mouth. Do not get this product in your dog's eyes or mouth. Repeat applications may be made if necessary (i.e., if the flea infestation persists), but do not apply more often than once every 3 weeks. A veterinarian should be consulted when pest infestation continues to be a problem on the pet. IF ONLY TICKS OR MOSQUITOES ARE A PROBLEM, IT IS NOT NECESSARY TO USE A PRODUCT WHICH CONTAINS PYRIPROXYFEN. Efficacy of the product may be affected by washing the pet.
For Dogs Weighing Less Than 15 Kg (one Applicator)
Apply one tube (1.5 mL) of Active-3 solution to the dog's back at skin level between the shoulder blades.For Dogs Weighing 15 To 30 Kg (two Applicators)
Apply one tube (1.5 mL) of Active-3 solution to the dog's back at skin level between the shoulder blades and apply a second tube (1.5 mL) to the dog's back at skin level directly in front of the base of the tail.HOW TO APPLY: Remove product tube from packaging by tearing along perforation. Holding tube with notched end pointed up and away from face and body, cut off notched end of tube. Invert tube over dog and use narrow end of tube to part dog's hair. Squeeze tube firmly to apply all of the solution to the dog's skin. Wrap tube and put in garbage.
Precautions - Humans
KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN. Keep children and toddlers from touching the dog after application until the product has completely dried. Not for use of humans. Harmful if swallowed or absorbed through the skin. Avoid contact with skin, eyes or clothing. May cause eye irritation. Wear gloves when applying. Wash thoroughly with soap and water after handling.
Precautions - Pets
For external use on dogs only. Consult a veterinarian before using on pregnant animals, sick animals or animals under drug or other pesticide treatment. Do not use on nursing animals or animals under 6 months of age. Discontinue use if adverse effects are observed. If condition persists, consult your veterinarian.
Toxic to cats. DO NOT USE ON CATS or animals other than dogs. Cats which actively groom or engage in close physical contact with recently treated dogs may be at risk of toxic exposure.
First Aid - Humans
If Swallowed
Call a physician or Poison Control Centre immediately. Drink 1 or 2 glasses of water and induce vomiting by touching back of throat with finger or, if available, by administration of syrup of ipecac. DO NOT INDUCE VOMITING OR GIVE ANYTHING BY MOUTH TO AN UNCONSCIOUS PERSON.If In Eyes
Flush with plenty of water. Get medical attention if irritation persists.If On Skin
Wash affected area with soap and water. If irritation persists, get medical attention.Take container, label or product name and PCP Registration Number with you when seeking medical attention.
First Aid - Pets
Some animals may be sensitive to ingredients in this product. Reactions in dogs may include skin sensitivity. Dogs may show lethargy, increased pruritis (itchiness), erythema (redness), rash and hair discolouration or hair loss at the application site. Observe the dog following treatment. If sensitivity to the product occurs, discontinue use and bathe the dog with a mild, non-insecticidal shampoo. If signs continue, consult a veterinarian immediately.
Toxicological Information
Treat symptomatically.
Storage And Disposal
Store in a cool, dry place. Do not reuse empty container. Wrap empty container and discard with household garbage.
