Multi-Species Activated Charcoal Paste Contains Activated Hardwood Charcoal, Attapulgite Clay & Certain Electrolytes.

Active Ingredient

Activated Hardwood Charcoal (100 mg/mL)

10.0% w/w

Excipients

Water, Attapulgite Clay (200 mg/mL), Sodium Chloride (35 mg/mL), Potassium Chloride (35 mg/mL), and Polysorbate.

Warning

If conditions do not improve consult your veterinarian. Depending on the condition of the animal, supportive therapy such as parenteral fluids and injectable antidotes should be used along with Activated Charcoal Paste for efficient recovery. Not effective in the treatment of heavy metal poisoning like lead, arsenic, mercury, etc. Do not administer to unconscious animals.

Suggested Use

May be used as an aid for accidental poisoning resulting from insecticides, herbicides, organic chemicals, intestinal bacterial contaminants or grain overload. Research has shown that activated charcoal is effective in counteracting the effects of certain oral toxins.

Suggested Dosage

Dogs & Cats

1-3 mL per pound body weight.

Sheep & Goats

1-3 mL per kilogram (2.2 lbs) body weight.

Calves & Foals

Up to 80 mL.

Adult Cattle & Horses

It is recommended to give one full tube (300 mL).

Repeat dosage after 1 to 3 hours or as needed.

Keep In A Cool, Dry Place. Avoid Freezing.
