Description

BEXCO A.C.T.H. is a sterile, free-flowing, repository preparation of corticotropin containing 40 or 80 U.S.P. units per mL in 5 mL vials.

Preservative: Phenol

A.C.T.H. 40 Indications

BEXCO A.C.T.H. is a long-acting preparation for use as an aid in the treatment of Adrenal Cortex suppression in horses.

A.C.T.H. has also been used as an adjunct to corticosteroid therapy in the treatment of equine arthritic conditions.

Dosage

200 units (2.5 mL x 80 units or 5 mL x 40 units) as a single dose repeated every 3 to 7 days depending upon the response and the severity of the condition or as recommended by the attending veterinarian.

Store in refrigerator. Warm to liquid before withdrawing.
