A.C.T.H. 40 Indications
A.C.T.H. 40 is for use as an aid in the treatment of adrenal cortex suppression in horses.A.C.T.H. 40 has also been used as an adjunct to corticosteroid therapy in the treatment of equine arthritic conditions.
Dosage & Administration
5 mL (200 units) as a single dose repeated every 3 to 7 days depending on the response and the severity of the condition or as recommended by the attending veterinarian. For subcutaneous or intramuscular injection.Contraindications
Corticotropin injection is ineffective in animals where atrophy of the adrenal gland has occurred.Storage
