READ LABEL BEFORE USING

DESCRIPTION: 1-Stroke Environ is a research-developed, concentrated hard water effective, broad spectrum germicidal detergent for simultaneous cleaning, disinfection, and deodorization. With its detergents and 820 ppm phenolic germicide, 1-Stroke Environ solution simultaneously cleans, disinfects, and deodorizes all washable hard non-porous surfaces such as bathroom fixtures, walls, woodwork, equipment, furniture, chrome, stainless steel, porcelain, glass, tile, washable painted or varnished surfaces, terrazzo, resilient vinyl, asphalt, linoleum, and rubber floors.

USE AREAS: 1-Stroke Environ is intended for use in agriculture, animal research, industrial, and institutional facilities.

QUALIFICATIONS of a 1:250 solution in 400 ppm hard water (as CaCO₃) 10 minutes at 20°C.

Germicidal

Passes A.O.A.C. Use-Dilution Test vs. Ps. aeruginosa, S. aureus, S. choleraesuis, Aeromonas hydrophilia, Bordetella avium, Campylobacter jejuni, Corynebacterium sepedonicum, Escherichia coli, Klebsiella pneumoniae, Listeria monocytogenes, Mycoplasma gallisepticum, Pasteurella multocida, and Salmonella enteritidis, Salmonella sp. Serovar pullorum, and Streptococcus suis.

Fungicidal: Passes A.O.A.C. Fungicidal Test vs. T. mentagrophytes.

Virucidal: Passes Virucidal Qualification Test vs. Adenovirus Type 2, Avian Reovirus, Infectious Bronchitis, Gastroenteritis virus, Herpes simplex Types 1 and 2, Influenza A2, Infectious Laryngotracheitis, the viruses of Marek's Disease, Porcine rotavirus, Pseudorabies virus, and Vaccinia.

Odor Control: Eliminates most odors by killing odor-causing bacteria, chemically neutralizing their odors, and cleaning unpleasant-smelling soils. Leaves a pleasant lingering fragrance.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE:

Solution Preparation

Measure water into bucket. Using a One-Stroke Dispenser Pump, to produce a 1:250 solution, add one stroke (32 mL), up and down, for each 8 litres of solution. Always add 1-Stroke Environ to pre-measured water. Mix gently. Discard solution when it becomes dirty and replace it with a fresh solution. 1-Stroke Environ is a complete product. Do not add other chemicals. If frozen, thaw and remix before use.

Hospital Disinfection

Thoroughly clean surfaces to be disinfected before application of the solutions of this product. Scrub to loosen soils. With a cloth, sponge, mop, or brush, apply 1-Stroke Environ solution prepared as directed above. Thoroughly wet all surfaces to be cleaned, allow to soak for 10 minutes, then remove excess solution with a wrung-out applicator.

AGRICULTURAL FACILITY CLEANING AND DISINFECTING: Remove or cover all food, feed stuffs, packaging materials, and livestock. Remove all litter, manure, and other debris from floors and walls; scrape if necessary. Empty all troughs, racks, and other feeding and watering appliances. Thoroughly clean surfaces to be disinfected before application of the solutions of this product. Scrub to loosen soils. Saturate all surfaces with 1-Stroke Environ solution. Allow to soak for 10 minutes. For feeders and waterers, rinse; scrub with detergent; rinse thoroughly with potable water. Drain all surfaces and allow to air-dry. Ventilate buildings before use or rehousing livestock. Do not use in milking stalls, milking parlors, or milk houses.

Food Preparation And Processing Facility Cleaning And Disinfection

Cover or remove all food and packaging materials. Remove all loose soils. Thoroughly clean surfaces to be disinfected before application of the solutions of this product. Scrub to loosen soils. Saturate all surfaces with 1-Stroke Environ solution prepared as directed above. Allow to soak for 10 minutes. Thoroughly rinse all wetted and cleaned surfaces with potable water.

Control Of Rhizopus Arrhizus (pole Rot) On Tobacco Kilns And Sticks

Apply solution two months prior to using the kiln or sticks; using one application per year. Mix 1.0 L of 1-Stroke Environ into 250 L of pre-measured water to make a 1:250 solution. Spray the interior of the kiln and dip the sticks, thoroughly wetting all surfaces. Sticks should be soaked for 10 minutes. Remove the sticks from the solution. Allow both kiln and sticks to air dry.

DISPOSAL: 1) Rinse the emptied container thoroughly and add the rinsings to treatment site. 2) Follow Provincial instructions for any required additional cleaning of the container prior to its disposal. 3) Make the empty container unsuitable for further use. 4) Dispose of the container in accordance with Provincial requirements. 5) For information on disposal of unused, unwanted product, contact the manufacturer or the provincial regulatory agency. Contact the manufacturer and the provincial regulatory agency in case of a spill, and for clean-up of spills.

PRECAUTIONS: Concentrate is corrosive. Causes eye and skin damage. Do not get in eyes, on skin, or on clothing. Wear goggles or face shield and rubber gloves when handling concentrate. Harmful if swallowed. KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN. Not for use in hospital nurseries.

FIRST AID: Eyes - Immediately flush eyes with water for 15 minutes and get medical attention. Skin - Flush thoroughly with water. Remove and wash contaminated clothing before reuse. If Swallowed - Drink a large quantity of milk, egg white, gelatin solution, or water; avoid alcohol. Do NOT induce vomiting. Call a physician or poison control centre immediately.

TOXICOLOGICAL INFORMATION: Acute Oral LD₅₀ (undiluted): 3,730 mg/kg. Typical pH (undiluted):12.6. Probable mucosal damage may contraindicate the use of gastric lavage. Measures against circulatory shock, respiratory depression, and convulsion may be needed.
