DEXTROMETHORPHAN
HYDROBROMIDE 7.5mg

Do not take if you are hypersensitive to any of the ingredients, or if you have athsma or COPD.
Use with caution if you have ever had liver problems.
May cause drowsiness or dizziness and patients experiencing these effects should
not drive or operate machinery. Occasionally dizziness, nausea, vomiting, allergic skin
reactions or gastro intestinal disturbance may occur but these are rare.
Use with caution if taking monoamine oxidase inhibitors or within 14 days of
stopping such treatment.
If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, consult your doctor before taking this product.
Each lozenge contains a total of 2.4g of sucrose and glucose - this should be taken into
account if you have diabetes mellitus. If you have been told by your doctor that you have
an intolerance to some sugars, consult your doctor before taking this product.
Dosage
Those aged 12 years or older - two lozenges 3 to 4 times a day.
Children 6 to 12 years - one lozenge 3 to 4 times a day
Children under 6 years - not recommended.
Suck each lozenge until dissolved.
Do not take more than 4 doses in 24 hours.
Consult your doctor or pharmacist if symptoms persist. Prolonged use may
lead to addiction.
If you take too many lozenges or experience symptoms or side
effects which you think may be due to taking this medicine, consult your
doctor or pharmacist.
Keep out of the sight and reach of children
Do not store above 25ºC. Store in the original package.
Do not take after the use by date.
Ingredients
Each lozenge contains: Dextromethorphan hydrobromide 7.5mg
Also contains: Sucrose granulated, Glucose liquid, Blackcurrant flavour (contains propylene
glycol and nature-identical flavouring substances), Citric acid monohydrate, Sucralose,
Masking flavour (contains propylene glycol), Levomenthol, Carrot anthocyanin E163
(contains anthocyanin extract in water and citric acid).

Provides relief from dry coughs. Contains the active ingredient Dextromethorphan
hydrobromide (an antitussive) to suppress coughing without drowsiness.
