Each tablet of Blue Flag Compound contains the following active
herbal ingredients: (Latin names are given in brackets)

Blue Flag Compound also contains the following ingredients:
Sugar, Purified Talc (E553B), Magnesium Stearate (E572), Starch,
Titanium Dioxide (E171).
Each tablet contains sugar. If you have been told by your doctor that you
have an intolerance to some sugars, contact your doctor before taking this
medicinal product.
Each bottle of Blue Flag Compound contains 90 or 100 tablets.

What Blue Flag Compound is

Blue Flag Compound is a herbal medicine belonging to a group of
medicines known as “Anti-acne preparations”. These medicines work
by promoting clear skin.

This leaflet was last revised in May 2008.

The active herbal ingredients in each tablet of Blue Flag Compound
are Sarsaparilla, Stillingia, Blue Flag and Burdock Root (see section 7
for more information). These herbs are recognised for their
dermatological properties.

If you take too much Blue Flag Compound (overdose)
If you take more than the recommended dose, see a doctor,
pharmacist or qualified health care practitioner and take this leaflet
with you.

2. What Blue Flag Compound is used for
Blue Flag Compound is used for skin disorders and acne.

3. Before you take Blue Flag Compound

If you forget to take a dose
Simply leave out that dose and take your next dose at the usual
time. It doesn't matter if you miss a dose.

Do not take Blue Flag Compound if you:
• are allergic to any of the ingredients (listed in section 7)
• are pregnant or breastfeeding (unless prescribed by a doctor).

If you are unsure about anything relating to this product
If you have any questions, or are unsure about anything, please ask
your doctor, pharmacist or qualified health care practitioner.

Tell your doctor before taking Blue Flag Compound if you:
• have an intolerance to some sugars. This product contains
sugar (see section 7).

Side effects

There are no known side effects from taking Blue Flag Compound as
instructed in this leaflet.

4. How to take Blue Flag Compound

However, if you notice any side effects after taking Blue Flag
Compound, please inform your doctor or pharmacist.

Blue Flag Compound should be taken at the recommended dose until
symptoms are relieved.

Dosage
Swallow the tablets whole with water. Do not chew the tablets.
Adults, the elderly and children over 12 years old
Take 1 or 2 tablets three times a day.

Blue Flag Compound

If your symptoms persist
If your symptoms persist or worsen, consult your doctor.

Children 5-12 years old
Take 1 tablet three times a day.

Do not use the tablets after the expiry date. The expiry date is
printed on the bottle label and the outer carton.

This product is not suitable for children under 5 years old.
Do not exceed the recommended dose unless told otherwise by your
doctor, pharmacist or qualified health care practitioner.

Store the tablets in cool, dry conditions away from direct
sunlight.
Keep all medicines out of the reach and sight of children.
