Severe allergic reactions (rash; hives; itching; difficulty breathing; tightness in the chest; swelling of the mouth, face, lips, or tongue); fever, chills, or sore throat; red, swollen, blistered, or peeling skin; severe or persistent skin irritation; unusual tiredness or weakness; yellowing of the skin or eyes.

Sodium Sulfacetamide
Reports or irritation and hypersensitivity to sulfacetamide sodium are uncommon. The following adverse reactions, reported after administration of sterile ophthalmic sulfacetamide sodium, are noteworthy: instances of Stevens-Johnson syndrome and instances of local hypersensitivity which progressed to a syndrome resembling systemic lupus erythematous; in one case a fatal outcome has been reported.
