Robinul Forte

All medicines may cause side effects, but many people have no, or minor, side effects. Check with your doctor if any of these most COMMON side effects persist or become bothersome when using Robinul Forte:

Bloated feeling; blurred vision; constipation; decreased sweating; dizziness; drowsiness; dry mouth; dry skin; enlarged pupils; headache; loss of taste; nausea; nervousness; sleeplessness; weakness.

Seek medical attention right away if any of these SEVERE side effects occur when using Robinul Forte:

Severe allergic reactions (rash; hives; itching; difficulty breathing; tightness in the chest; swelling of the mouth, face, lips, or tongue); chest pain; confusion; decreased sexual ability; diarrhea; difficulty focusing the eyes; difficulty urinating; excitement; fainting; fast, slow, or irregular heartbeat; seizures; severe or persistent dizziness, light-headedness, or headache; shortness of breath; unusual weakness; vomiting.

Nervous system

Nervous system side effects have included headache, nervousness, drowsiness, dizziness, insomnia, and mental confusion. The elderly appear to be more prone to the anticholinergic effects of glycopyrrolate on the CNS. Seizures have been reported from postmarketing experience.

Cardiovascular

Cardiovascular side effects have included tachycardia and palpitations. In addition, cardiac arrhythmias, cardiac arrest, hypertension, and hypotension have been reported from postmarketing experience.

Gastrointestinal

Gastrointestinal side effects have included dry mouth, nausea, vomiting, constipation, and feeling bloated.

Genitourinary

Genitourinary side effects have included urinary hesitancy, urinary retention, and impotence.

Ocular

Ocular side effects have included blurred vision, increased ocular tension, cycloplegia, and dilatation of the pupil.

Endocrine

Endocrine side effects have included suppression of lactation.

Dermatologic

Dermatologic side effects have included dry mucous membranes and decreased sweating.

General

General side effects have included weakness, hyperpyrexia, and a loss of taste.

Hypersensitivity

Hypersensitivity side effects have included urticaria and other dermal manifestations.

Immunologic

Immunologic side effects have included anaphylaxis.

Local

Local side effects have included pruritus, edema, erythema, and pain at the injection site.

Respiratory

Respiratory side effects have included nasal congestion, nasal dryness, and sinusitis.
