Rare
  • Skin rash or other sign of allergic reaction

Some norfloxacin ophthalmic side effects may not need any medical attention. As your body gets used to the medicine these side effects may disappear. Ocular

Ocular side effects have most frequently included local burning or discomfort. In addition, conjunctival hyperemia, photophobia, corneal deposits, and chemosis have occurred.

Gastrointestinal

Gastrointestinal side effects have included reports of bitter taste in the mouth following instillation of norfloxacin ophthalmic.
