Nacon Sustained-Release Tablets

All medicines may cause side effects, but many people have no, or minor, side effects. Check with your doctor if any of these most COMMON side effects persist or become bothersome when using Nacon Sustained-Release Tablets:

Constipation; diarrhea; dizziness; drowsiness; dry mouth, nose, or throat; excitability; headache; loss of appetite; nausea; nervousness or anxiety; trouble sleeping; upset stomach; vomiting; weakness.

Severe allergic reactions (rash; hives; itching; difficulty breathing; tightness in the chest; swelling of the mouth, face, lips, or tongue); difficulty urinating or inability to urinate; fast or irregular heartbeat; hallucinations; mental or mood changes; seizures; severe dizziness, light-headedness, or headache; tremor; vision changes.

Side Effects by Body System

Cardiovascular

Cardiovascular side effects have included pallor, tachycardia, palpitations, arrhythmias, and cardiovascular collapse with hypotension.

Nervous system

Nervous system side effects have included nervousness, insomnia, restlessness, headache, irritability, fear, anxiety, tenseness, tremor, weakness, hallucinations, convulsions, drowsiness, dizziness, and central nervous system depression.

Ocular

Ocular side effects have included blurred vision.

Gastrointestinal

Gastrointestinal side effects have included gastric irritation, and excessive dryness of the nose, throat and mouth.

Genitourinary

Genitourinary side effects have included dysuria and urinary retention in patients with prostatic hypertrophy.

Respiratory

Respiratory side effects have included respiratory difficulty.
