For the Consumer
Applies to terbinafine topical: topical cream, topical gel, topical solution, topical spray
Get emergency medical help if you have any of these signs of an allergic reaction while taking terbinafine topical (the active ingredient contained in Lamisil AT) hives; difficult breathing; swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat.
Stop using terbinafine topical and call your doctor at once if you have a serious side effect such as severe blistering, itching, redness, peeling, dryness, or irritation of the skin.
Less serious side effects are more likely, and you may have none at all.

Dermatologic
Dermatologic side effects have included burning or irritation (1.3%), itching (1.1%), skin exfoliation (1%), and erythematous rash (0.9%).
General
Therapy was discontinued in clinical trials by 0.2% of patients treated with terbinafine solution and 0.6% of patients treated with placebo.
