Get emergency medical help if you have any of these signs of an allergic reaction while taking ioflupane I 123: hives; difficult breathing; swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat.

Less serious side effects of ioflupane I 123 may include:

• pain, swelling, burning, or irritation around the IV needle;

• headache;

• dizziness, spinning sensation;

• dry mouth; or

• nausea.
