Get emergency medical help if you have any of these signs of an allergic reaction while taking ergoloid mesylates (the active ingredient contained in Hydergine) hives; difficulty breathing; swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat.

Less serious side effects such as nausea or upset stomach are more likely to occur, and you may have no side effects at all.
