Get emergency medical help if you have any of these signs of an allergic reaction while taking lactobacillus rhamnosus gg (the active ingredient contained in Culturelle Digestive Health) hives; difficulty breathing; swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat.

Hematologic

Hematologic side effects including Lactobacillus bacteremia have been reported rarely. Two cases of patients with both bacteremia and sepsis attributable to the Lactobacillus species have also been reported.
