Side Effects by Body System

Ocular

Ocular side effects of tobramycin ophthalmic include eyelid itching and swelling. Conjunctival erythema has also been reported.

Hypersensitivity

A case of allergic conjunctivitis and blepharitis associated with tobramycin ophthalmic ointment has been reported. Hypersensitivity was confirmed by patch testing.

Tobramycin ophthalmic has been associated with hypersensitivity reactions.
