Xyrem
Xyrem (sodium oxybate) is a central nervous system depressant. Xyrem is used to reduce the number of cataplexy attacks (sudden loss of muscle strength) and reduce daytime sleepiness in patients with narcolepsy. Xyrem may also be used for other purposes not listed in this medication guide.
