If you become pregnant while taking Tioconazole , discuss with your doctor the benefits and risks of using Tioconazole during pregnancy. It is unknown if Tioconazole is excreted in breast milk. If you are or will be breast-feeding while you are using Tioconazole , check with your doctor or pharmacist.

Tioconazole topical Pregnancy Warnings

Tioconazole has been assigned to pregnancy category C by the FDA. Animal studies utilizing high oral and subcutaneous doses have not revealed evidence of teratogenicity. There are no controlled data in human pregnancy. Tioconazole is only recommended for use during pregnancy when benefit outweighs risk.

Tioconazole topical Lactation Warnings

There are no data on the excretion of tioconazole into human milk. The manufacturer recommends that caution be used when administering tioconazole to nursing women.
