Tenecteplase has been assigned to category C by the FDA. Animal studied have revealed evidence of maternal and embryo toxicity when given multiple IV doses. There are no well controlled studies in human pregnancy. Tenecteplase should only be given during pregnancy when benefit outweighs risk.

Tenecteplase Lactation Warnings

There are no data on the excretion of tenecteplase into human milk.
