If you become pregnant while taking Simethicone Strips, contact your doctor. You will need to discuss the benefits and risks of using Simethicone Strips while you are pregnant. It is not known if Simethicone Strips are found in breast milk. If you are or will be breast-feeding while you use Simethicone Strips, check with your doctor. Discuss any possible risks to your baby.
Simethicone Pregnancy Warnings
Simethicone has not been formally assigned to a pregnancy category by the FDA. Briggs et. al states that simethicone is probably compatible with pregnancy. There are no controlled data in human pregnancy. Simethicone is only recommended for use during pregnancy when benefit outweighs risk.
Simethicone Breastfeeding Warnings
There are no data on the excretion of simethicone into human milk.
