If you become pregnant, contact your doctor. You will need to discuss the benefits and risks of using Capsaicin Lotion while you are pregnant. It is not known if Capsaicin Lotion is found in breast milk. If you are or will be breast-feeding while you use Capsaicin Lotion, check with your doctor. Discuss any possible risks to your baby.
Capsaicin topical Pregnancy Warnings
Capsaicin topical has not been formally assigned to a pregnancy category by the FDA. Animal studies have not been reported. There are no controlled data in human pregnancy. Capsaicin topical should be given during pregnancy only when benefit outweighs risk.
Capsaicin topical Lactation Warnings
There are no data on the excretion of capsaicin topical into human milk.
