Overview

Belladonna Alkaloids/Phenobarbital Elixir has been shown to cause harm to the fetus. If you think you may be pregnant, contact your doctor. You will need to discuss the benefits and risks of using Belladonna Alkaloids/Phenobarbital Elixir while you are pregnant. Belladonna Alkaloids/Phenobarbital Elixir is found in breast milk. If you are or will be breast-feeding while you use Belladonna Alkaloids/Phenobarbital Elixir, check with your doctor. Discuss any possible risks to your baby.

Atropine/hyoscyamine/phenobarbital/scopolamine Pregnancy Warnings

Atropine/hyoscyamine/phenobarbital/scopolamine has been assigned to pregnancy category C by the FDA. Animal studies have not been reported. There are no controlled data in human pregnancy. Atropine/hyoscyamine/phenobarbital/scopolamine should be given to a pregnant woman only if clearly needed.

Atropine/hyoscyamine/phenobarbital/scopolamine Lactation Warnings

There is no data on the excretion of atropine/hyoscyamine/phenobarbital/scopolamine into human milk. The effects in the nursing infant are unknown. The manufacturer recommends that caution be used when administering atropine/hyoscyamine/phenobarbital/scopolamine to nursing women.
