PHILLIP'S® LIQUI-GELS® (Bayer Healthcare)

Uses:

• For the relief of occasional constipation (irregularity).
• This product generally produces a bowel movement in 12-72 hours.

Active ingredient
  (in each softgel):                                          Purpose:

Docusate sodium  100 mg  ......... Stool softener laxative

Inactive ingredients:   FD&C blue #2 lake, gelatin, glycerin, methylparaben, polyethylene glycol, propylene glycol, propylparaben, shellac, sorbitol, titanium dioxide

Phillips' Liqui-Gels are a very low sodium product. Each softgel contains 5 mg of sodium.

Directions:

Take softgels with a full glass (8 oz) of water.

adults and children 12 years and over Take 1 to 3 softgels daily or as directed by a doctor. This dose may be taken as a single daily dose or in divided doses. children 6 to under 12 years Take 1 softgel daily or as directed by a doctor. children under 6 years of age consult a doctor.

Warnings:   Do not use laxative products for a period longer than 1 week unless directed by a doctor. Ask a doctor before use if you have abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting or if you have noticed a sudden change in bowel habits that persists over a period of 2 weeks. Ask a doctor or pharmacist before use if you are presently taking mineral oil. Stop use and ask a doctor if you have rectal bleeding or failure to have a bowel movement after use. These could be signs of a serious condition. If pregnant or breast-feeding, ask a health professional before use. Keep out of reach of children . In case of overdosage, get medical help or contact a Poison Control Center right away.

Storage: Store at room temperature. Avoid excessive heat 104°F (40°C).
