Lac-Hydrin is used in the treatment of dry, scaly skin, including the genetic condition called ichthyosis vulgaris. Available in cream and lotion form, the drug moisturizes the skin and breaks up the scales.

How should you take Lac-Hydrin?
Shake the lotion well. Apply cream or lotion to the affected areas and rub in thoroughly.
