Drug Facts
Benzocaine 6.0%
External analgesic
Benzethonium chloride 0.20%
First-aid antiseptic
- temporarily relieves pain and itching
- first aid to help prevent infection in minor cuts, scrapes and burns
For external use only
- deep or puncture wounds
- animal bites
- serious burns
- do not get in the eyes
- do not apply over large areas of the body
- condition persists or gets worse
- symptoms last more than 7 days or clear up and occur again within a few days
If swallowed, get medical help or contact a Poison Control Center right away.
- adults and children 2 years and over: clean the affected area and apply a small amount to affected area not more than 1 to 3 times daily; may be covered with a sterile bandage
- children under 2 years: ask a doctor
