With Renewed Vision, Spectrum Welcomes Back Familiar Talent
Washington, DC (February 3, 2011) - Spectrum, one of the nation's leading independent health and science communications firms, has announced that Lissette Capati has rejoined the agency as Vice President. Ms. Capati is a seasoned health and science communications counselor with more than 12 years experience advising health care organizations and companies on corporate and product public relations, issues management and public affairs.
"People who work with Lissette experience firsthand her energy, smarts and enthusiasm for making a difference in health care communications," said John Seng, Spectrum's founder and president. "I'm thrilled to win her back, and for her to offer her insightful counsel and leadership anew to Spectrum clients and people," he added.
Ms. Capati returns to Spectrum from Zeno Group, a Daniel J. Edelman company. There, she led corporate and scientific communications and social media campaigns for clients in the company's health care practice. Previously at Spectrum, Ms. Capati managed scientific communications, brand-building campaigns, advocacy relations and public affairs initiatives for leading pharmaceutical and biotech clients in the areas of oncology, immunology, infectious disease and women's health.
"This is an incredible time of growth and expansion for the firm," said Ms. Capati. "It's always been a very special place - amazing clients and a smart, creative, and passionate team. But now we've got a renewed vision and some exciting things ahead. It's a privilege to be back at Spectrum."
Ms. Capati will lead several of the company's key accounts and direct marketing and business development for the firm. She will report directly to John Seng.
