BALTIMORE -- May 1, 2007 -- Healthcare media company Physicians Practice, LLC, has been acquired from parent company Med-IQ, LLC, by United Business Media, PLC, a publicly traded global business information company based in London.

Based in Baltimore, Physicians Practice and its principal product, Physicians Practice®, America's Leading Practice Management Journal, is distributed to approximately 275,000 office-based physicians and their staff, with business, financial, and legal expertise to assist them in managing their practices more efficiently.
