Physicians Interactive Expands Access to Continuing Medical Education Content from Oakstone
Skyscape Subscribers Eligible for Discounted Digital, Mobile CME Resources
Reading, MA - (December 3, 2013) - Physicians Interactive Holdings Inc. (PI), the leading provider of online and mobile clinical resources and solutions for healthcare professionals, today announced it will expand its partnership with Oakstone Publishing, LLC to offer healthcare professionals greater access to premium continuing medical and dental education (CME and CDE) content through digital and mobile channels.
Under the partnership, PI will now offer subscribers to its Skyscape digital and mobile platforms expanded access to Oakstone's high quality, unbiased and multimedia resources for physicians, dentists and allied health care professionals at a discounted rate. Oakstone has achieved Accreditation with Commendation from the American Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the highest recognition for a medical content provider that the ACCME awards.

Oakstone recently launched NRCME Plus Online Training System™, which is also now available to Skyscape subscribers, in response to recent U.S. DOT regulations that commercial motor vehicle drivers must be certified to perform their jobs. The mandate, which goes into effect on May 21, 2014, will require physicians, nurse practitioners and physician assistants who perform DOT exams to become certified medical examiners in order to apply the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration's (FMCSA) physical qualification standards and guidelines when certifying drivers for their jobs.
