Omnicare Comments on Analyst and Press Reports

COVINGTON, Ky.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov 7, 2007 - Omnicare, Inc. (NYSE:OCR), the nation's leading provider of pharmaceutical care for the elderly, today commented on analyst and press reports concerning the previously disclosed inquiry by the United States Attorney's Office, District of Massachusetts.

"We do not believe there is anything significant related to this review that has not already been disclosed in our public filings. Our programs related to the implementation of Medicare Part D have been carefully reviewed by outside legal counsel, and we firmly believe that we have complied with all applicable laws and regulations with respect to these matters. (NYSE:UNH) and its affiliates asserting claims of federal and state anti-trust violations, civil conspiracy and fraud. The litigation is before the federal court in the Northern District of Illinois.
