ICC Purchases UK Agency; Strengthens European Presence

TRENTON, N.J., Oct. 8, 2007--ICC is pleased to announce that UK agency Brand(x) has joined ICC’s growing group of companies that include Trio and Alchemy and will become their new European agency hub.  “Brand(x) shares many of our beliefs and philosophies and like us is driven by the desire to be a major player in Europe. They also bring a strong management team, a high quality reputation, well motivated staff and a striking record of growth. We believe that Brand(x) will significantly strengthen the already established presence of ICC in Europe and help take us to the next level” said Steve Viviano, President and CEO of ICC.

“In the year ended April 2007, Brand(x) demonstrated the power of its unique offering by achieving phenomenal growth and by winning The PharmaTimes Communications Agency of the Year award.  More recently, this offering has been extended to include PR and digital programmes.  Now with Brand(x) joining ICC, the agency adds an exciting new dimension to its overall capability, allowing the core beliefs of the agency, based on the importance of the brand and the principle of exceptional expertise, to remain the same but  be given expression on a bigger European and global stage.” added Mike Young, Senior Partner of Brand(x)

The new company will bring together Brand(x) as well as ICC Europe currently located in Richmond, UK.  In addition, Lowe Healthcare’s existing European promotional agency Lowe Azure will be folded in as will their European medical communications agency Lowe Fusion.  “By combining these resources, we have built a top notch European Agency who can offer our clients a full range of services”, commented Mr. Viviano. Brand (x) will remain in their offices in Chiswick, London W4.
