HDMA Reelects Neu and Scherr to Lead Board of Directors
ARLINGTON, Va., October 1, 2013 — At the HDMA Annual Board & Membership Meeting in White Sulphur Springs, W.Va., the Association announced the reelection of David W. Neu, President, AmerisourceBergen Drug Corporation, AmerisourceBergen Corporation, as Chairman of its Board of Directors. Ted Scherr, President/CEO, Dakota Drug, also was reelected as Vice Chairman.
Additionally, HDMA welcomed two members to the Board. Mark Walchirk, President, McKesson U.S. Pharmaceutical, was elected to replace Paul Julian, Executive Vice President and Group President, McKesson Corporation on the Board and Executive Committee. Mr. Julian was first elected to the Board in 1999 and served two terms as HDMA chairman from 2008 until 2010. Mary Tim Smith, Chief Financial Officer, R&S Northeast LLC, was elected to replace Greg Duche, Chief Executive Officer, R&S Northeast LLC, who was first elected in May 2009.
