From HR towards Talent Management

BRATISLAVA, Slovak Republic, July 5, 2007--The pan-European study of Hewitt Associates[1] pointed to talent management as the leading way for HR to drive business performance. This tendency in 2006 was even more perceivable than the previous year. The findings show, that among HR - related activities talent management has the highest impact (47%) on overall business success. Survey respondents expect an even greater emphasis on talent management over the next three years.

Leading Pharma companies also realized that talent management and succession planning are linked to overall business success.  In today’s competitive environment, an elemental priority is to source, attract, select, train, develop, promote, and move talented and skilled workforce through the corporation. To enhance employee performance, companies are creating and incorporating a mix of talent management methods and tools.

Inspired by the success of the previous event, Jacob Fleming is proud to announce its 2nd Annual Managing Talent in Pharma conference, due 23-24 October 2007 in Brussels. This five star conference will bring together the HR experts from leading Pharma & Biotech companies to benchmark best practices, success stories, do’s and don’ts.
