Elixir Pharmaceuticals Files Registration Statement for Proposed Initial Public Offering

CAMBRIDGE, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sep 24, 2007 - Elixir Pharmaceuticals, Inc. announced today that it has filed a registration statement with the Securities and Exchange Commission relating to a proposed initial public offering of its common stock. Credit Suisse Securities (USA) LLC will act as sole book-runner for the offering. Pacific Growth Equities, LLC and Leerink Swann LLC will act as co-managers.

The number of shares to be offered and the price range for the offering have not yet been determined. The offering will be made only by means of a prospectus.
