COPD (Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease)
This study will evaluate the safety and effectiveness of a new procedure called airway bypass, to see if it can relieve hyperinflation (overfilling) of the lungs. Candidates must have severe emphysema in most of both lungs, be age 35 or older, and be willing to stop smoking at least eight weeks before entering the trial. Additional criteria apply.
The research site is in Topeka, Kansas.
This study will include post-menopausal women with hormone-sensitive (ER+ or PgR+) metastatic breast cancer. The study will evaluate AZD2171 in combination with fulvestrant versus fulvestrant treatment alone in women who have progressed on prior hormone therapy. To participate, you must provide written informed consent, be female with histological/cytological confirmation of hormone sensitive breast cancer with evidence of metastatic disease, and have one or more measurable lesions. Additional criteria apply.

Migraine and Cluster Headaches
This is a research study of migraine headaches in teenagers. Candidates must be ages 12-17, and diagnosed with migraines or experiencing moderate-to-severe headaches that last two hours or more and occur 2-8 times per month. Participants must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
