NEW YORK--Drugmaker Bristol-Myers Squibb Co. said Monday Chief Financial Officer Jean-Marc Huet will leave the company at the end of the year, and Charles Bancroft has been named acting CFO.
Bancroft joined Bristol-Myers in 1984 and served most recently as vice president, finance, for the drug maker’s global biopharmaceutical business. Huet wanted to return to Europe, the company said in a statement.
Bancroft will continue to report to President and Chief Operating Officer Lamberto Andreotti.
"Charlie has a wide range of technical and operational finance experiences, including strong financial stewardship, business partnering and leadership capabilities which will serve him well in his new role," Chairman and CEO James M. Cornelius said.
